Management education has undergone a sea change with the outbreak of COVID’19. The traditional methods of teaching-learning methods followed for decades has become obsolete. The so called ‘Black Swan’ has become a reality and management experts are pondering over the situation. Even though everything may seem to be getting back on track, the pandemic has exposed the inertia towards change among management institutes in India. “Airline and Airport Management” from 8th December to 14th December 2020 by Dr. Balaji, Dean ,Academics Affairs of Nehru College of Aeronautics and Applied Sciences, Coimbatore. The study of Airport Management course teaches about the management of the Airport. This course provides a broad overview of the airline industry and creates awareness regarding marketing, financial, operational and other factors influencing airport management. It helps to develop different skills within a student to apply managerial skills for the exponential growth of operational and financial airline travels.
“Mastering Data Analysis on Excel” by Dr. Murugappan, from 15th to 18th December 2020 conducted by Bhannari Amman Institute of Technology, Erode , Tamil Nadu. Excel can enhance understanding of content within a grahic presentation of the information; it provides a visual representation of data that makes it easier to analyze. Excel reduces the difficulty of plotting data and allows students a means for interpreting the data.A successful Excel spreadsheet will organize raw data into a readable format that makes it easier to extract actionable insights. With more complex data, Excel allows one to customize fields and functions that make calculations as per ones need.

Modern, state of the art , air conditioned classrooms provide a multi-media learning atmosphere. Amphi style seating, audio systems and lectern, LCD projector and Wi-Fi facilities are provided in classrooms, which are always kept neat and clean.
Separate MBA library with more than 8000 book titles is provided near the classroom. In addition, a bigger reference library is also available in the campus. Important national and international journals are available in the library, with sufficient reading space for 60 students, all news papers and computer terminals for internet access. Individual subscription for one business newspaper is given to students and there is news analysis by students, twice in a week.
JBS has access to three AC conference halls with audio/LCD/Digital board facilities to hold guest lectures, seminars and management meets. In addition a well-equipped Assembly hall is provided for student presentations.

Dr.K.S.Sreejamol , Assistant Professor, Jawaharlal Business School @ JCET was invited as a guest speaker in Apollo Arts & Science College, Chennai on “Blue Ocean Strategy”. The concept conceived of a new way for companies to drive profitable growth: by creating uncontested market spaces (blue oceans) where the competition is irrelevant, instead of fighting it out in overcrowded, commoditized industries (red oceans).
Dr.Ashokan.C , HOD of Jawaharlal Business School @ JCET was invited as a guest speaker in Cheran Academy for the panel discussion on “Value Based Education”. He argued that value education is very important for everyone as it explains what value each individual has to inculcate. The major objective of the classes was to act like a reminder to be sure that we have the right thinking and to bring back to track our thoughts.
Dr. Sreejamol K S has done her research work on “A study on Consumer Perception about Weather Based Crop Insurance Scheme in Palakkad District” . She was awarded Ph.D on the above mentioned topic on 19th October 2020 from Bharathiar University, Tamil Nadu.

“Logistics & Supply Chain Management” Jawaharlal Business School has organized 5 days add on course for 2nd year MBA students of both Jawaharlal Business School and Nehru School of Management from 21st June, 2021 to 25th June, 2021 by professors of NIET Coimbatore. Through the sessions they have explained that main role of logistics in supply chain management is primarily to increase the overall value of each delivery, which is identified by customer satisfaction. This means that the reduction and optimization of labor resources must be tied in with keeping up a certain level of quality customer service.
